Ayurveda has always been known for the kind of positive effects it has on different health related issues and conditions. Right from the ugly pimple scars to severe constipation, there are hundreds of minor to major health issues that herbal medicines can treat. The most important benefit of Ayurveda is that it extracts the problems from their roots and even when you stop consuming the herbal tablets, the problems don’t recur for a long period of time.
Lately, people have been shuffling two different terms and using them as one – organic medicines and herbal medicines; however, there’s a wide difference between both the terms. Let us see the three main features of these two terms that depict their differences:
- Growth of the herbs – The manufacturers or suppliers themselves grow herbs for organic medicines. On the other hand, the herbs for herbal medicines are found or discovered from forests or locations where they naturally grow.
- Care for the ingredients – When it comes to the concept of ‘organic’ remedies for different health related issues; herbs are grown with proper care. A lot of precautions are taken so the best natural ingredients are developed in the most effective and natural manner. Talking of herbal remedies, no special or extra care is taken since the herbs are discovered from forests and not planted by the manufacturers.
- Use of chemicals – The concept of organic medicines is against the use of chemicals. For an instance, if lavender oil is needed for a particular medicine, the flowers are grown without the use of chemicals. On the other hand, if some fruits or leaves are used for herbal remedies, they are developed and protected with the help of fertilizers or pesticides.
It doesn’t matter if you are planning to use herbal remedies or organic ones for your problems; all that matters is that you consult a proper doctor before beginning with any treatment. Although most of naturally made medicines have no side-effects, there are chances for you to be allergic to some wild herbs. Thus, consulting a doctor is always the best suggestion.
Most of the countries sell naturally made medicines without any prescriptions; this can be quite dangerous as some of the wild herbs or spices can be poisonous or may have negative effects on those that are already on other regular allopathic medicines. For an instance, if someone is on regular blood pressure pills, he may have to consult a good professional doctor before starting with any natural medicine.
