All About a Wrinkle Cream With Vitamin A and C

Anti-wrinkle solutions are flooding the market nowadays. Products are constantly developed and improved to help individuals deal with the ill effects of aging on one’s skin. Although most products are boasting about their undoubted effectiveness in achieving a youthful skin, nothing beats a cream with vitamin A and C.

Two of the most important substances to ensure that a cream is effective are vitamin A and vitamin C. Amidst the various ingredients that came and went in terms of anti-aging products; vitamin C has proven to be the most lasting.

Basically, a wrinkle cream with vitamin a and c works because vitamin C helps to increase the collagen in the skin cells. It is the absence of collagen along with elastin that results to wrinkles and fine lines. It also works on the sun damage which causes the action of free radicals that causes the signs of aging.

One of the most common ingredients in anti-wrinkle creams is retinoic acid, which is actually a derivative of vitamin A. In fact, retinol and retinyl palmitate are musts in any anti-aging products since they help reduce and keep off the most obvious signs of age especially the ones in one’s face.

It is, however, highly possible that certain allergic reactions can be experienced due to the exposure to vitamin A. When this occurs, one should discontinue using the product right then and there. Despite the proven effectiveness of vitamin A as an ingredient in anti-wrinkle creams, there is no possibility of completely eradicating wrinkles permanently.

A cream with vitamin A and C really works. However, the possibility of allergic reactions as well as the absolute effectiveness of the product cannot be assured considering the differences in every individual’s skin as well as one’s possible reactions to certain substances the product contains.
