As you all know, grandmothers are well versed about curing different ailments. The chicken soup for colds is just one of their cures for what ails us. Grandmothers all across the country for quite some time have developed toenail fungus home remedies.
Thanks to them many of you can now show your toes and feet during the warm weather with no embarrassment. No more ugly lines and discolored toes that are not pleasant to gaze upon. This is no small achievement on the part of grandmothers.
A favorite of grandmothers was Milk of Magnesia as a laxative or for heartburn. A grandmother or two used this for discolored toenails due to fungus. Many a man and woman have been cured of this scourge with some Milk of Magnesia applied to the affected toes daily. Sounds ridiculous but many swear this is a great cure.
Others have found lemon juice, freshly squeezed, as a cure when the nails are fully soaked. Working almost as well is freshly squeezed lime juice. It cannot yet be claimed that freshly squeezed oranges produce the same results.
Finally, we come to the controversial cure of using cow manure. You bury your toes in a pile of manure and relax for around 15 minutes, 3 or 4 times a week. Scientific evidence does not support the results claimed by many, but they no longer have toe nail fungus.
Toenail fungus home remedies can be very controversial but it is the right of all suffering from nail fungus to employ any and all methods to get out from under this blight.
