Pimples are something everyone does not want to have on their skin. Pimples are annoying. They also affect a person’s aesthetics greatly. It is even better to have no pimples at all. That’s why you would always want to know how to get rid of a pimple fast.

What Causes Pimples?

Pimples are caused by natural factors. Lifestyles such as over-consumption of caffeinated products are pointed to as factors for a person developing pimples. However, in most cases, pimples are caused by clogged skin pores. Pimples are bound to occur in extremely oily skin, as the oils attract dirt and dust. When these things reach the skin pores, they block them, thus causing pimples and blackheads to appear.

Hormonal changes in the body can also lead the body to secrete more oil from the skin pores. That is why it is more common for teenagers to have pimples as opposed to adults.

Can Pimples Be Removed?

Fortunately, for everyone, pimples can be removed. In fact, there are a lot of recommended ways to treat and remove the irritating pimples once and for all. All of them are easy to do and less expensive.

Tomato Lotion Treatment

One of these ways include using tomato lotions. To create a tomato lotion, you would need half a teaspoon each of camphor lotion and tomato juice, as well as a teaspoon of honey. Mix them into a paste and use the lotion on your face. Fifteen minutes would be a good duration for the treatment. Wash the lotion off first with lukewarm water, then cold water.

Dental Floss

It is amazing to think that dental flosses are not only useful for the teeth, but are suitable for removing pimples as well. To do this, simply move the floss over the pimple in a scraping motion until the pimple is completely removed including residue. Clean the pimple using warm water, and then apply mouthwash to disinfect the area.

Hot Compress

This treatment is very simple to do. All you need is to prepare a bucket full of hot water and a wash cloth. Wet the cloth using hot water and then apply pressure on the pimple using the wash cloth for at least 10 minutes. Put some hydrogen peroxide on the pimple by pressing a cotton ball on it for three to five minutes, then rinse off.
