How to Get Rid of Acne Fast – 3 Myths Undone

Struggling to cope with the acne on your skin? Well you need to face it you are not being told the real truth about getting clear skin and that is why you continue to suffer from your problem day in day out. Here is the biggest acne myths exposed so you can finally get on the right path to clear skin.

1. Washing your face more then twice a day will lead to clear skin faster. This is a myth no matter how much you believe it because this amount of washing will actually dry out your skin causing more problems. Excessively dry skin will make your body produce more surface oils which once get stuck in your skins pores will produce more break outs. If you want to get clear skin you should only be washing your face twice daily once at night and once in the morning.

2. Sunlight is good for your skin so the more the better. As you already know acne is very easily irritated and suns harsh rays are more then enough to cause problems. If you are in the sun for a long period of time you should use an oil free sunscreen so your acne is protected but your skin can still get the benefits found in the suns rays.

3. Diet is very important to acne so do not eat chocolate. Science has not yet proved a connection between chocolate and acne how ever they have found a link in dairy products and bananas. These foods contain specific amino acids in them that can trigger the release of sebum which causes break outs on your skin so it is best to limit these foods if possible.
