Once you turn 30, your neck will look older as well, since more and more wrinkles and sagging skin will appear. All is not lost though, as there are plenty of products you can use, and practices that you can easily follow to get better skin in just a few short weeks. To effectively lose wrinkles on your neck, you have to know more about the available products, as well as natural ingredients found in your garden or kitchen. Here are some tips.
On Creams and Other Products
Put some firming cream on your neck. These creams and toners generally function to boost the production of collagen and elastin. You can get some trial packs and samples from the cosmetic section of the mall or department store. You should pick a product that is specifically made to treat neck wrinkles and sagging neck skin. Try to aim for products that only use all-natural ingredients. The cream should also smell good, since you will be wearing it on your neck for several hours.
Get some egg white and whip lightly. Apply the whipped egg white on your neck using your fingertips. Make sure you put in enough on your throat and beneath the jaw line. The egg white should be applied liberally. Smoothen the application using tissue paper. Let the egg white dry. You may cover some white marks with makeup or powder.
Another great formula involves mashing carrots, egg whites and apples together. Add 2 teaspoons of water or more to make a paste, then add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Apply the mixture on your neck and allow to stick for 15 to 20 minutes. You may wash the formula off using cold water. You will notice that your neck skin becomes firmer and suppler after the application.
Always include the neck when doing your regular face cleansing routine. The neck can be full of bacteria and other toxins, so wash the area two times a day using mild soap and warm water. You should also do more exercises that involves the neck. Do some light stretching and flex the muscles in the area to keep the skin from sagging. Gravity and other types of clothing can aggravate or hasten sagging, so assume the best position when sleeping and try to limit wearing shirts with very tight collars or turtlenecks.
Screen and Exfoliate
You should exfoliate to lose the wrinkles on your neck effectively. Use mild exfoliating solution then rub well into the area using your fingertips. Allow the exfoliant to stay for 10 minutes before rinsing with cold water. You should also apply sunscreen or sun block on the area, preferably with a lotion having SPF 30 or more. This keeps harmful UV rays away. Use a scarf if it gets to gusty or if you need to stay under direct sunlight for long.
