Pro’s and Con’s of Popping Pimples

Pro’s of popping pimples:

1. Your pimple will dissipate immediately. This is obvious, but this is the main reason that people do decide to pop their pimples. If you have a big event coming up, whether it is a big date or you have your first real job interview, sometimes it is worth it in the extra confidence you will have in yourself to pop the pimple.

2. It is free! Trips to the dermatologist cost lots of money and time, even though that is probably your best option when it comes to keeping your acne in check. Making acne remedies at home is not always the safest option to go with, and it takes a lot of time. Buying acne gels/ pills/ creams can become very expensive very quickly, as we all know.

The only other real free, safe, time effective way to reducing your acne is to live a healthier lifestyle. Cut out the unnecessary fats in your diet, cut out sugar, replace simple carbohydrates with complex carbohydrates, and drink lots of water, unfortunately very few people decide to take this obvious route to living healthier.

Con’s of popping pimples:

1. You will get acne scars if you pop enough pimples. A pimple will stay on your face for between two and five days on average, an acne scar could last forever. It just is not really worth it to pop your pimples 95% of the time.

2. Popping your pimple’s is a short term solution to a long term problem. You are doing nothing to help the actual problem, you are just treating the symptoms.
