Some Eye Creams For Wrinkles And Dark Circles Can Be Dangerous

Wrinkles and dark bags under the eyes can age us. So, using an eye cream for wrinkles and dark circles makes sense because this cream adds moisture to the eye area, thus reducing wrinkles and circles under the eyes.

To avoid exacerbating issues concerning wrinkles and dark circles, you need to buy a mild and safe eye cream. Additionally, this cream should not damage the soft tissues around your eyes and should not cause eye irritation.

However, due to the inclusion of chemicals as ingredients in some eye creams, finding a mild eye cream for wrinkles and dark circles can be a daunting task.

According to the Cosmetic Safety Database, some of the ingredients of eye creams that can cause harm include BHA or butylated hydroxyanisole and coumarin. BHA has been tagged by the U.S. National Toxicology Program as a possible human carcinogen. Coumarin is a fragrance ingredient that has been linked to cause allergies and contact dermatitis.

If there are harmful ingredients, then let me tell you about effective ingredients that an anti aging cream should have.

Eyeliss is a patented peptide that has been found to effectively smooth out wrinkles around the eyes. Another unique ingredient is Haloxyl, which can reduce dark bags under the eyes.

Because I’m putting emphasis on a mild product due to the sensitiveness of the eye area, another suitable ingredient that a good anti aging cream for the eyes should contain is Homeo Age, an extract from Canadian algae. This extract has been discovered to reduce wrinkles around the eyes and also offer anti-aging properties.

There are also natural oils that help these ingredients in targeting dark bags and eye wrinkles, including Active Manuka Honey and Babassu.

The use of an eye cream for wrinkles and dark circles is still considered inadequate, especially if you did not supplement such treatment with changes to your lifestyle and the way you take care of your eyes.

I recommend that you avoid extreme rubbing of your eyes and extreme frowning. Moreover, you need to be careful in the application and removal of eye makeup. These activities have been found to contribute to causing wrinkles around the eyes.

To prevent dark circles around the eyes from appearing, I suggest that you get plenty of sleep during the night. You also need to eat a healthy and balanced diet as dark circles are usually attributed to lack of vitamin K or inadequate antioxidants.
